As Americans concerned with the situation of the Uighurs in the Xinjiang province in China, we urge you to divest immediately from Chinese tech firms that provide technology for tracking, and monitoring the Uighur population. Our hard-earned pension contributions shouldn't be used to sponsor this horror. Divest now!

It's unbelievable -- our taxpayer dollars are helping finance the world's largest ethnic cleansing… targeting 11 million Uyghur Muslims in China!

Their lives are hell: the Uyghurs are under 24-hour surveillance, a million held captive in mass camps and forced to erase their religion and culture, and half a million kids ripped from their families and brainwashed.

This cannot happen in our name.

The US government already imposed sanctions on many of the tech companies facilitating this -- but dozens of US public pension funds have massive amounts still invested. Many people don't even know their money is funding repression on the other side of the world!

In days, the boards of California pension funds CalPERS and CalSTRS will meet -- let's bring all our voices and those of Uyghur survivors to the meeting, and call on them to divest now.
