Unless we take "radical action" on climate, parts of the planet where billions of us live could become so hot, the average adult would die within six hours if exposed.
Breathe that in for a second. Risk-averse bankers say the climate crisis is life and death for our civilization -- and will require an unprecedented, speedy transition to a zero carbon economy. It sounds nearly impossible...but so did the Internet not too long ago! We CAN do this.
And in days Europe's governments are meeting to deliberate on a revolutionary, continental “Green New Deal” to unlock massive investments in green technology and energy efficiency, support the most vulnerable in the transition, and get to zero emissions by 2050.
