As concerned citizens across the globe, we urgently call on you to recognise the fundamental human right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. This will help communities, lawmakers, judges, and whole nations in securing better environmental protection and access to human rights. The UN Human Rights Council has already done its part by passing a Resolution confirming the right with an overwhelming majority. Now it’s up to the UN General Assembly to do the same so all life on Earth can thrive.

Recognise the right to a healthy environment
People across the world are getting sick and dying in “sacrifice zones” -- hotspots of extreme environmental pollution that are created for profit. But now we have a chance to fight this!

Everyone should have the right to live in a healthy environment, and the UN General Assembly could confirm this right now! Several countries are championing a global resolution to make access to a healthy environment a human right, but they need huge public backing to push it through. People power has worked before, and now we have the perfect chance to deliver our voices directly in the room!
